How We Can Get Good Food For Everyone

Insight

We need to learn from nature not ignore it. It has all the answers. We think the answer to our food problems is to have bigger farms. But the opposite is true. Here’s why.

Colin Tudge is a biologist by education and a writer by trade, with published books on evolution, genetics, phylogeny, trees and birds.

He also has a lifetime’s interest in food and agriculture, and in particular in the technologies and economic and social structures that are needed to feed everyone forever without wrecking the rest of the world.

In 2009 together with his wife, Ruth, he founded the Campaign for Real Farming which led to the College for Enlightened Agriculture.

His latest book, published in March 2011, is Good Food for Everyone Forever.
